This is our third LG laundry set. The first stayed with a house we sold and is still running. The second was about five years old and ran flawlessly. We sold that set to buy the stack model for aesthetic reasons. We would have bought the full featured model but needed the Graphite Steel color to match the refrigerator that it sits beside. I like everything about this unit except the dryer selections are extremely limited. Temperature and dryness settings are fixed in most modes. You can cook your clothes on high heat run at medium heat on a cycle that runs long after the clothes are dry or repeat a shorter cycle because you cannot adjust dryness. LG deliberately handicapped this dryer to justify a higher cost for the next model up. Compared to the higher model this unit has a lower grade tub material and no dryer steam function. I dont know why LG found it necessary to turn off the selection buttons. The unit is well made but I kind of hate it.

It is a beautiful unit. And it is packed with technology however from Day 1 I have had issues. Granted the issues may not be the responsibility of LG however I purchased a Washer/Dryer to wash and dry clothes. When that doesnt happen I called Lowes who said to call LG and that becomes another story who said our unit is perfect it must be the installation which resulted in calling Lowes again who was very responsive to have the unit re-installed which resulted in another call to LG who said that I needed to hire a third company to clean my vent I had cleaned it prior to install however they said that I needed a professional vent company. And until I could prove that was completed that they would not send a technician. It was clear that the person was working from a script Later the LG person said Why dont you try resetting the machine? I asked how and they said turn it off at the breaker. interesting that this was a step AFTER advising me of the need to hire a cleaning company etc. And then a technician shows up unannounced and after LG told me that they would not send a technician. Who advises that I need a different type of hose connection. It is too early to offer my insights regarding the unit however I go back to I bought a unit to use and I am not using it yet. How is that my fault?

However when the delivery contract company installed it they did a less than stellar job on back duct and installation. Product itself has been good but a tight fit for a standard closet.

I hate it this is the worst washing machine ever now I specify washing machine the dryer is pretty good but the washing machine does not clean your clothes I dont know your clothes stink like wet dog and when you open the front loader there is every type of particle that did not go down the drain around the Rubber seal whether it be paper in your pocket or dog hair or grass it doesnt matter your stuck cleaning the rubber every time you do a load and your clothes smell no matter what you do even if you put additives in this is the worst washing machine Ive ever owned and unfortunately it is too late for me to return it

I have been using our LG laundry center for about a month and I love it I literally look forward to doing laundry as strange as that sounds. I remodeled our laundry room and chose a stacked unit to give me more space in the room. I also wanted the industrial look carried over into my laundry. The LG unit had the perfect color option for my decor style. Installation was straightforward. I opted to install myself because it was delivered before I finished the remodel. Use is easy as well. No need to read a manual...it is as straightforward as it comes. I love the little jingle when the units finish their loads My clothes come out much cleaner when compared to my previous units. I highly recommend the LG laundry center.

I bought this last month when my previous laundry set died. I thought I had to go small to have a stackable. Thats because we had a separate washer and dryer that were supposed to be stackable - once we bought the adaptor. Problem was that once all together this 53 person had to jump or use a stool to reach the controls. So that went into the classifieds and we bought a small stacked laundry unit. I could reach but it took multiple loads to wash for the two of us. The repairman who came out said it would be more to repair than replace. I opened the computer to a couple of big box stores gave him my parameters and said Choose Thats how I got my LG laundry center and I love it And it is full size

Ive had this machine for about a year now. The only issue I have is with the musty smell from water accumulating in the bottom of the machine. Have called LG a couple of times and had tech out to take a look. He says it is normal for water to accumulate in the bottom of the machine So every time I wash clothes I have to get down on the floor to drain the 4 cups of dirty. rinse water out of the drain. Makes no sense that this is the design for an advanced tech machine. Never had to drain water of my old top loading machine. How hard would it be to put a small pump down there to suck that water out. Very poor design if this is truly how it is supposed to work. Also customer service id inconsistent. 1st time I called the person told me to do a tub rinse with Affresh. Which did not work and made it worse. 2nd time I called I was told not to use Afresh but to use Tide liquid tub cleaner which does not exist. Only powder. Next time they sent a tech who told me that that is how the machine is designed and I just have to live with it.

It was pre-ordained we would be purchasing an over/under unit as were using some of the extra space for our pantry. But we couldnt be happier with this machine. Its very simple to operate and extremely quiet while operating. Dont be fooled thinking these particular machines can only handle small loads you can load this puppy up much like the larger machines and still get great results. Lots of choices when it comes to wash cycles and the keypad will allow you to modify those to your liking. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone looking for a new washer/dryer. I love my new washtower it gets my clothes extra clean and its super convenient I love how I can control most of what it does through the ThinQ app and it give me gentle reminders and recommendations. However I do not like how I was offered the LG premium Care with it as soon as I bought it then after its almost impossible to get help adding that service on to my new purchase they all tried to deflect the situation and put it off on the retail store that I bought it from .

We recently bought the LG Washtower and we are so pleased with this purchase The unit works extremely well and both appliances are very quiet. They work extremely well and can be paired with the LG app on your smartphone. Since this is purchased as a single unit there is no need to buy a stacking set either.

This unit is new and will not wash anything. Only cycle that even sort of works is bedding and on that it only fills up with water. All other cycles flash dashes on the screen. After that it never spins or washes anything. Cant even spin out the water it brings in. Cant believe it So disappointing
