Initially it was a little challenging to level unit and get one door closed completely. Had to remove a rubber grommet on top of freezer door. But other than that unit working nicely. Two types of ice is nice. It was also a tight fit on 36 in opening.

I bought this brand new fridge item one month ago although the fridge is spacious with great features the ice machine on the door was none functional but it took one month before repairs and replacement was completed. This not what I expect from a renowned brand name such as LG to get a defective item and especially when I spend that kind of money. I was very disappointed but now the repairs have been completed and everything has been working well for the last 48hours. I still think that I shouldve been given a replacement instead of repairing the defective ice roller on the door of fridge but I willl keep monitoring it to see how it functions

Purchased this back in October of 22.. the first one came Lowes installed it but the doors would not line up and the door open alert would not stop. Lowes was accommodating and took it back and we got another one. That one worked well for 8 months before the craft ice maker stopped. Upon further checking it turns out there are known issues with the craft ice maker. Currently waiting for an appointment to see what can be done. Overall stay away from this fridge.

I have only had this refrigerator a few weeks but it is exactly what I wanted My only cons are the water doesnt come out very cold at all.Im not sure if thi is normal but its seems like it should be extremely cold since it comes from the freezer side of the fridge.The ice and water dispenser makes a mess and it doesnt have a drip pan/tray to catch excess water and ice.

Great features but was broken upon delivery

We bought this a couple of weeks ago and the Craft Ice dispenser never worked. Also if we set the freezer to -3F the freezer temperature varies between 0F and 14F. The part delivery schedule was 2-3 weeks so we opted to return it for a new replacement Great Lowes feature. Unfortunately Lowes is out of the model so we had to order a replacement from another dealer. We hope the failure was just a fluke but we will see in a week.

Tons of space and excellent crushed ice

Been installed now for 2 months and I just love it It features much more freezer space than the French door fridge I had for a decade. Plus this has 2 ice makers.. one for crushed or normal block ice.. and it also makes ice balls perfect for anything on the rocks. The other benefit to the big ball ice is that it melts very slowly so it keeps drinks cold for hours. Max amount of ice balls made per day is between 3 and 6. The water filter is SO easily accessible and easy to replace Big thumbs up This fridge makes no noise while sitting there but does make some noise when new ice balls are dropped or new ice is dropped into the crusher. A brief read through the manual allows you to easily learn how to operate all the options. The ice maker is easily turned on and off by pressing a button inside of the fridge so you can make sure if you leave town for long periods that the fridge doesnt make ice to be wasted. Im extremely happy with this buy

This is a great refrigerator from LG. It has the ability to self diagnose any problems and can be software updated via online access. Tap the glass twice and the light turns on so you dont have to stand there with the door open. Craft Ice is a great option when it works correctly. I had to have mine replaced under warranty because it stopped working correctly and was filling the bin with water instead or ejecting the ice. That is the reason for 4 stars otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Nice fridge but lacking good handle placement.

I really like this fridge the only dislike which is why it only gets 4 stars is the lack of/bad placement of handles. They are too low seems they could have incorporated an actual handle on the face as to not have the handles below the glass and dispenser. Inside is nice although theres only an option for top shelf to be moved up or down the other shelves are permanent. The drawers at the bottom handle placement could have been better. The lip to open is at the bottom of each drawer which isnt bad for the top one. the bottom one is at the very bottom not easily accessible.other than the handle issues I personally have its a great fridge. See photos for handle placement.

This refrigerator has the perfect amount of technology without getting ridiculous. The knock door is nice to just check if we need milk or juice. The door bins a quite large as are the drawers. We purchased this fridge specifically for the craft ice feature. Its a little loud and occasionally glitches. We were not aware the fridge needed to be updated. Customer support was less than supportive. We ended up having to replace the craft ice maker. Its still a tad loud but thats just something we have to accept apparently.

I purchased this earlier in the month but wanted to wait until I used it for a bit before I rated it. I like this model etc but the installation/delivery not so much. I had to argue with the installers just to get them to install it as I paid for the installation. There was a water line within 6 ft of the appliance and they wouldnt do it at first. I had to tell them to do so. Home Depot needs another installation company in the worst way.

Great Refrigerator with the ability to be updated.

We bought this refrigerator from Home Depot and at first I had some doubts. I couldnt get the two doors to align and close properly and we had intermittent problems with the craft ice maker. After trying to get the doors Just Right by myself and not quite getting it I finally went to the LG website and found out what I was doing wrong and git them aligned and closing in about 10 minutes. Chalk that up to me just not reading the directions My Bad The craft ice maker was a different story though. I tried everything I could think of. I contacted LG and was given directions on how to update the software and it seemed to work. For A While At about 10-11 months old it started messing up the craft ice again. I tried all the tricks and new update I even went as far as uninstalling the ice maker and removing it from the freezer and letting it thaw out before I cleaned and dried it before reinstalling it again and it still was dumping water in the bin and not making ice normally. So I contacted LG and a Technician was sent the following day and a new ice maker was overnighted to my home and the Tech had it installed in about 10 minutes. I woke up the next day and we already had 3 ice balls in the tray. So far so good. I was told the icemaker was changed slightly and the software was tweaked to allow it to run longer during the cycle so it would eject the ice easier and not freeze up. I have the give LG props for handling the ice problem and making it right and that is why I give it a full 5 stars instead of 3 or 4.

Craft ice maker is awful

Within 4 months we had to get them to replace the craft ice maker because it made a horrible knocking noise. Now its March 10 months from purchase date and guess what ice maker has quit working again. I did what they instructed me to do and it dropped 3 balls of ice and then started making the horrible knocking noise again. Ive reached out and no reponse on fixing this one.
